Moon Station features a 1960’s retro pop influence, with each track inhabiting its own musical style and universe. The first single release “Green Genevieve” is off Moon Station. Recorded in Will Wander’s own studio, the Elephant Tusk Recording Studio.
Will Wander is a Nashville-based songwriter, singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He blends musical genres pop, folk, jazz, and classical music to create a unique and compelling sound to establish his own genre which he likes to refer as “Adventure Pop.”
Will Wander draws his influences from artists both old and new, such as the Beatles, The Doors, Nick Drake, Regina Spektor, and the Flaming Lips . Will Wander started his musical endeavors playing in multiple punk bands and jazz combos when he was in high school, intensely studying chords and harmony, and has implemented much of what he learned into his songwriting.
